Sam is a graduate of The University of Calgary (BSc ’02, BN ’04) and Athabasca University (MN/NP ’18).  She practiced for over 14 years as a RN, the last 8 years with a focus in neurology on Unit 111 at the Foothills Hospital in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences.  After completing her Masters of Nursing she transitioned to the inpatient neurology Nurse Practitioner role at FMC before moving to the Alberta Neurologic Centre in October 2019.

She is absolutely thrilled to be part of the amazing team at Alberta Neurologic Centre.

Sam is a wife and a busy mom to 3 kids and 2 dogs. In the winter she spends most of her spare time at the hockey/figure skating arena, and in warmer months she can be found in the garden or hanging out with their 20 chickens on the family’s acreage.
