Dr. Monica Kennard
BKin, MD, FRCPC-Neurology, CSCN (EMG)

Originally from Vancouver, Dr. Kennard completed her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, and medical school at the University of British Columbia. Ready for a change, she moved to Ottawa for her neurology residency training in 2019. Dr. Kennard has been practicing in Calgary since 2024. When she is not at Alberta Neurologic Centre, she works with AHS as a general neurologist and electromyographer. She has a mixed inpatient and outpatient practice based out of Rockyview General Hospital and South Health Campus. 

Outside of work, Dr. Kennard enjoys reading, gardening, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and chocolate labrador.
