Dr. Jonathan Fridhandler is a graduate of the University of Toronto where he was awarded the prestigious Cody Gold Medal for finishing top of his medical school graduating class. He subsequently underwent specialty training in Neurology at the University of British Columbia during which time he served as chief neurology resident and completed his certification in electromyography through the Canadian Society of Clinic Neurophysiologists. He returned to the University of Calgary to complete a fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology.
Dr. Fridhandler has been practicing at the Alberta Neurologic Centre since its opening in 2018 and also provides care at the Multiple Sclerosis clinic at South Health Campus. He is involved in resident and medical student training as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary.
On his days off, Dr. Fridhandler is usually in the mountains biking, hiking or skiing with his kids and dogs.
