Dr. Rehana Murani

Dr. Rehana Murani was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida while competing in NCAA division one soccer. She returned to Canada in 2012 to complete her MD at the University of Alberta. This was followed by a five-year specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Calgary. While completing her training, she was able to continue to compete in soccer at the semi-professional level. She has recently obtained her Canadian certification in Sports Medicine, as well as pursued extra dedicated training in interventional and musculoskeletal ultrasound, which are two of her main interests.
Her other clinical interests include acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, and neuromuscular electrodiagnostics. Dr. Murani currently holds a clinical practice both in Edmonton and in Calgary, Alberta.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends, playing soccer, cooking, and golfing.
