⁠Dr. Wan was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area. He completed his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at McMaster University in Hamilton. Afterwards, he completed his medical degree at the University of Toronto and subsequently a 5-year neurology residency at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. Continuing his journey westward across Canada, he completed a 1 year fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, where he also received certification in electromyography from the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists. He then started a community practice in Edmonton for 1-year before moving to Calgary to join the Alberta Neurologic Centre. ⁠

⁠Outside of work, Dr. Wan enjoys making lattes, playing badminton and photography.⁠
